Ankylosing Spondylitis is a brutal, invisible arthritic disease that has taken a physical and mental toll on me since I was 14.
I’m not chasing medals or personal bests. I'm trying to push the societal goalposts on what people believe is possible while living with a painful, debilitating, chronic illness.
Growing up, I searched for someone who looked like me, moved like me, and understood the pain I was living with, but I couldn’t find anyone. So I decided to become that person, and I need your help.
The Run

Ty is running from the Arctic to the Baja, over 6+ months, to raise awareness, support and funds for people living with painful, debilitating, lifelong arthritic conditions.
Having lived with arthritis for 20 years throughout his spine and hips, Ty knows the struggle firsthand. Rather than slowing down, he's pushing himself to the limit - one mile, one conversation and one story at a time.
